    Communication in an Emergency

    Module Synopsis

    This module is designed to ensure learn the personal communication skills using telephone, two-way radio and computer links. The course also focuses on the integration of paramedic to the socioeconomic environment of the non emergent and emergent patient in a long term chronic and pre hospital environment.

     

    Module Objectives

    The aim of this module is to enable students to:

    • To equip the student in the different methods of the emergencies communications, to enable them to participate in the Pre-Hospital emergency Care. 
    • To use correct spelling and pronunciation of health terminology is used in the clinical setting. 
    • To use Health Terminology in verbal communication with clients, their families and other health professionals. 
    • To read and to produce documents using health terminology in context.
