Communication in an Emergency

Module Synopsis

This module is designed to ensure learn the personal communication skills using telephone, two-way radio and computer links. The course also focuses on the integration of paramedic to the socioeconomic environment of the non emergent and emergent patient in a long term chronic and pre hospital environment.

Module Objectives

The aim of this module is to enable students to:

To equip the student in the different methods of the emergencies communications, to enable them to participate in the Pre-Hospital emergency Care.
To use correct spelling and pronunciation of health terminology is used in the clinical setting.
To use Health Terminology in verbal communication with clients, their families and other health professionals.
To read and to produce documents using health terminology in context.
