whole Cert III program contains 13 modules. This section focuses on the final module of the program -
Module 13; CECG113 - Practicum and Placement at Aged Care Center. As the final module of the course, this module includes the practical
component of aged care.
Module
Synopsis
This module is designed to adapt the learners to the working environment and to transpose their knowledge into daily works. The practical Placement takes place at Aged Care Centre. Students are supposed to perform the procedures within their work placement under the supervision of a senior supervisor. The module ensures to enhance the skills to provide basic care for elders in the areas of hygiene, nutrition, other needs such as sleeping, resting and general comfort, drug administration, emergency situations and end of life care. Also, to attend the emotional needs of elders and to interact with elders in manner of profession of care giver.

The aim of this module is to enable students to:- Obtain skills on elderly care giving
- Obtaining necessary administration skills need to work at elderly care giving centre
